In module four, we will learn what it takes to train athletes to peak physical fitness. It also provides essential information on how to tackle drug issues in the sports industry.

In module five, we will deepen our understanding of the coach-client relationship and how to manage it successfully. It also explores the reasons why kids drop out of sports and risk management strategies.

In module six, we will gain an in-depth understanding of different types of sports and how to coach them, taking a look at the coaching models and principles for popular sports such as football, tennis, rugby and cricket.

In module seven, we will learn how to advise clients on nutrition and calorie intake, as well as injury prevention and rehabilitation. It covers the essentials of meal planning for before, during and after an event.

In module eight, we will take a deeper look at sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, exploring the different types of injuries that can occur in sports, including how to treat muscle pain and bone injuries.

In module nine, we will learn about the role that parents play in the sporting performance of children and why it is important for developing children’s confidence and mindset.

In module ten, we will explore the role of women in sports coaching, as well as women’s participation in sport. It discussed why few women take on the role of sports coach and recruitment patterns in sports coaching.

In this final module, we will take an in-depth look at common ethical issues in coaching and codes of conduct. It includes case studies and anecdotal accounts of practice in professional support.
