In this module, we’ll explore the different factors that influence development in childhood. We’ll learn about the role of parenting style and the impact of exposure to family problems on children’s development.

Module 05: Observation and Assessment of Children in the Early Years Setting

In module five, we’ll learn about how to observe and assess a child’s development in the early years.

Module 06: Curriculum and Developing Early Learning

In module six, we’ll broaden our understanding of The Early Childhood Curriculum Frameworks in UK Countries. Also, we’ll learn about planning for children’s learning and creating an ideal learning environment.

Module 07: Safeguarding, Protection and Welfare of Young Children

In this module, we’ll learn about physical abuse and injuries, different types of neglect and how to deal with these issues to safeguard the children.

Module 08: Health and Safety of Children in the Early Years

In module eight, we’ll learn about the health and safety needs for children. We’ll learn about the importance of personal hygiene in childhood, different accidents and hazards in home ans school, and how to avoid these to protect children.

Module 09: Nutrition and Healthy Food for Children

Module nine explains the needs for nutrition and healthy food in children’s development. Here, we’ll learn about the main food groups for setting a balanced diet for children.

Module 10: Play and Learning in Children’s Education

In module ten, we’ll understand the impact of play and recreation on children’s learning and the overall development process. Also, we’ll discuss about creativity development in childhood.

Module 11: Working with Children Having Special Needs
