Looking to work more safely and confidently at height? This course helps you understand the risks, follow proper procedures, and handle equipment correctly—whether you’re starting out or tightening up your day-to-day practice.
Working at height shows up in more jobs than people expect. Construction sites, maintenance work, warehouses, even everyday facility tasks—it’s all part of the mix. And most of the time, it doesn’t feel especially dangerous. That’s the problem. The routine nature of the work can make the risks easy to overlook.
This course takes a closer look at those everyday moments. The quick climb. The awkward reach. The job that seems simple enough to “just get done.” You’ll walk through how falls actually happen—not in theory, but in the kinds of situations people run into on real worksites. We’ll look at what tends to increase the risk, and how to catch small issues early, before they turn into something more serious.
You’ll also spend time getting comfortable with the equipment used when working at height. Not just what it’s called, but how it fits into the job. When it makes sense to use it, what to check before you rely on it, and where people tend to go wrong. Because most incidents don’t come from a complete lack of knowledge—they come from small gaps in judgment, or assumptions that something is “good enough.”
At the end of the day, this isn’t about memorizing rules or ticking boxes. It’s about slowing things down just enough to see what’s really happening around you—and making decisions that hold up, even when the job feels routine.
