However, through no fault of their own, some people have functional, mental, or physical issues that put them at high risk of being abused or exploited by others. So this Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults course focuses on the most effective ways to ensure that someone is looking out for the best interests of these individuals and protecting them from harm. 

All aspects of Safeguarding Adults and associated caring techniques are explored in this training. From performing the necessary background checks on workers to identifying the symptoms of abuse and explaining how to forge strong connections with those in your charge. You’ll also be shown how to escalate official investigations that will prevent abuse from occurring. This is valuable and useful training for anyone that has responsibilities extending to adults that need as much support as the community can provide.
