The Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Course is designed to provide those who are new to the construction industry, who wish to apply for a CSCS Green Card, with the practice skills, knowledge and credentials to work safely and competently in their field.
Each year in the UK, people are killed, injured and suffer work-related illnesses while carrying out their jobs. This course includes essential health and safety information and guidelines, UK laws and legislation, as well as the different work-related illnesses and injuries. It covers basic electric, gas and fire safety training, the types of PPE, how to work safely with hazardous chemicals, and other key topics.
By the end of the Level 1 Health and Safety in Construction course, you will be able to accurately assess and identify on-site hazards, evaluate workplace safety, and ensure full competence when carrying out high-risk tasks such as working at height. You will also be fully equipped with the practical knowledge needed to apply for a CSCS Card and work diligently in any construction environment.
The Online Level 1 Health and Safety in Construction Environment course is designed for those working on construction sites and is a requirement for those wishing to apply for a CSCS Green Card.
