In module two, we will gain in-depth knowledge of the employee, recruitment and selection process, with step-by-step guidance and case studies.
In module three, we will explore some effective employee training practices, taking a look at different types of training and training techniques.
In module four, we will deepen our understanding of performance appraisal management and its benefits, with an in-depth look at the performance management cycle. It covers reviewing and rating performance, as well as dealing with underperformance.
In module five, we will learn about employee communication and relations, including the practice of industrial relations and common HR strategies.
In module six, we will explore the different ways to motivate employees, taking a look at the process of motivation, motivation theory and motivation strategies.
In module seven, we will learn about UK health and safety regulations in the workplace, with guidance on how to conduct a risk assessment and measure health and safety performance.
In module eight, we will explore the areas of employee termination, redundancy and dismissal, and the legal framework surrounding these topics. It also discusses the difference between fair and unfair dismissals.
In module nine, we will learn about personnel records and their different formats, including the information held in personnel records, statistical data and reports.
In module ten, we will strengthen our knowledge of UK employment law and contracts of employment, covering key topics such as wages, absence from work and working parents’ rights.
